Killing John Geermer
Precious Cargo merchant, after beating three of his buddies to ground, and I forced him to leave the medicine, then he asked me to choke on it so I launch a punch on his face, now he was as dead as those bandits. That's why you shouldn't ♥♥♥♥ with a witcher when you can't even handle a few of drowners:steamhappy::steamhappy:
But I wonder why no any info about this choice? This is the best way to get large amount of coin from the quest, because there are some loots from John Geermer's dead body.(more than 50 gold)

neither xp nor gold in this quest's of any significance both're basically zero so i'd choose based on roleplay or convenience. or did you loot any valuable or interesting items?

Nope, I just try to scare him away like others peasant who called me freak, but he truely smash down by me and actually I don't expect that LOL. I still enjoy beating him,so if someone who plan to earn more gold at the starting can do it so, at least gain 3 times gold above compare with roleplaying the "real Geralt".

There's no info most likely becaue it wasn't anticipated. Geralt isn't supposed to go around killing everyone who is rude to him otherwise there'd be no one left alive in the game world. I'm sure you enjoyed yourself but that 50 gold is hardly worth going against the lore.

Then again it's your game and you can play it however you like but you shouldn't be that surprised if you're stepping outside the norm, should you?

You get 10 xp and 50 crowns for letting him go without the box, plus 5 Celandine and 4 White myrtle, so being decent and still keeping the box nets you a fair amount anyway. If you turn him in to the Nilfgaardian or let him go with the box, you get 10 xp and 30 crowns. If you just return the box, you get 25 xp and 20 crowns.

You can in fact even catch him before he even returns to his group and resolve things there. So plenty of choices but not one of them takes into account your witcher's temper and greed.
I think you get it wrongly and didn't try it be4. You will get some good loots from three of the bandits and also 1 more loots from merchant himself if you just hit him after the quest done.
So, it is 50 gold plus 300++ gold plus 100++ gold( I'm not sure the loots are random or not).
A minor quest in 3 mins can earn nearly 500 gold, for me it is worth since Emhyr only gv me 2000 gold for trying so hard to finding her daughter and I also hv fun to let Geralt act like that.
