Please confirm or correct me if it's wrong, I read the following on the internet:
I keep my

-alchemy ingredients
-pills/potions/bombs
-weapons/armors
-runes/glyphs/mutagens
-money
-level and character points spent

I lose my
-quest items
-books
-food and trophies
-map exploration
-bestiary and character info
-weapon and armor diagrams
-alchemy diagrams
-gwynt cards
-things I keep in the chest

You don't lose your food. Items in the stash will only be lost if they are from one of the categories that are lost... for eg. quest items, but not weapons and armor.

That seems about right.

Altho, i did lose mutagens, as in i ended normal game with some 40 blue mutagens and a few green and reds, but i started NG+ with 1. The game gave me a sample of each, and outside of that, only the ones i had slotted remained. You might miss them, incase you're trying to go for mutations.

So they do carry over, but only partially.

Are you sure I don't lose food? Should I sell my books and trophies before I start it?

If you want some extra money. They'll be gone in NG+.

Food items come with you.

"they'll be gone in ng+" refers to the normal game trophies he asked about.

I finished W3 and the 2 addons, and I want to replay the game. Does selecting "New Game" in the Main Menu automatically places the game in NG+ mode? That is, "All enemies and quests are now 30 levels above..."

Thanks, BuzzardBee.

Umm no. THe New game + is only available if you bought the extension and when you start a new game you can choose between actual new game and new game +

once you play through main story and've free ng+ dlc installed game tells you ng+'s unlocked (it does so shortly after it puts you back to kaer morhen at end). at that point you should be able to start both normal new games and new game plus games.

Yes because that's all that NG+ does really. Level cap in NG+ is 100.
I know that this convo was in 2017 but I have a question! Can i also have another game without deleting my first playthrough and without transfering my character?
