Rip main menu theme?
The appearance of the main menu changes according to how you play the game. That is a good idea but there's one thing I don't like about it: It doesn't play the main theme song anymore. Instead it's Orianna singing that song she sang to a boy in Blood & Wine.

Is there a way to get the main theme song back? I know there's probably a mod for that on the PC version but I have the PS4 version.

The main menu theme changes depending on what your latest expansion is, IIRC there's one for hearts of stone as well.

So it will always stay at the boring Blood & Wine version?

The menu theme changes randomly every time you start up the game if you have any of the expansions installed. Doesn't have anything to do with your progression.

What are the chances of the menu changing its appearance?

It's randomized. So the chances would be 1 out of 3 if you have both expansions installed.

It doesn't change randomly, it's always the latest DLC you have installed.
There are mods though to change it or even combine music+background, look at Nexus. I, for one, have original game menu background, but with the blood and wine theme playing in the background.

edit: sorry, didn't read the PS4 part. Well, i guess you're stuck with it then. :(

Not as far as the GOTY version is concerned. I haven't played the non-GOTY version in a while so can't say anything about it.

Hmm, well, mine's not GOTY, just the two DLCs. I see.

The GOG version changes the menu theme each time you start it, the Steam version does not and will always show the latest Expansion you have installed. It is one of the differences in Steam and GOG GOTY versions. I think the unification patch on NEXUS adds this to the Steam version but have not installed it myself so can't speak from first hand experience.

Edited to correct name of mod.

Well if it was a mod then I'm out of luck.
