Sidequests left?

Hey,
I finished the main quest line (DLC's included) a while ago and so I wanted to get all the sidequests done. Im talking about the sidequests not the bandit camps and monster nests.

But I am having trouble finding the last missing side quests.
Could those question marks on the map be side quests too?
Is there a way to know how many side quests I have left or where to find the missing ones. It is just difficult to find them especially those which you encounter in some random wood and not in the villages.

It's such a shame to be unable to find those well written and interesting sidequests since they always bring a nice little story up.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO FIND THOSE SIDE QUESTS? Im tired of riding through velen the whole time. :/

side quests are shown in your quest log. the majority of them will be unavailable once you finish the main quest line. every now and then you'll find an exclamation point on your map which could be a side quest or just a witcher contract. im sure you can find a map on google that highlights all you need.

the question marks are not side quests, although you may accidentally complete objectives while exploring them.

the side quests worth doing however will show up automatically. as i said, find them in yur quest log

there's no easy way to get list of all side quests because you only know about quests you discover. yellow markers on map're usually quest related.

Hmm ok thanks guys. So now that I've finished the main quest I may have missed unfinished side quests? Thats dissapointing.

And those yellow markers on the map they show up randomly? Do I have to do something certain to make them show up? Also all my side quests in my quest log are pretty much finished. except fofr some gwint quests.

nothing's random in quests everything's scripted. but there're tons of quests and some're super short plus some depend on others so it's hard to know whether you missed something (unless you're reading some guide).

Thanks again guys. Maybe I'm gonna start a new game then to play the side quests before the main quest is done.

I was just concerned about those "unmarked quests" which don't show up in my journal. There probably is no way to find them or know if you have already finished them?!
