Churt Lure - Missing recipie

I jumped into the cave. I searched through all the interactables and then got the new objective to bait the beast 0/4
I checked my inventory and cannot seem to find this lure, nor can I find it on the Alchemy list.
Yes, I did search the beast's mouth for the recipie to automatically appear but it hasn't.

I have looked through every single category and read each indiviudal name. I think it should be in the quest tab but there is only 2 irrelevent ones.

No, you don't buy it. It appears in the alchemy tab as you progress through the contract: Mysterious Tracks. Since he's doing the quest already and is at the point where he's supposed to lay down the bait in four locations, he needs to craft the lure.

Open up your Inventory and tick all of the boxes in the filter. The lure requires two ingredients: 1 fiend dung and 2 crow's eyes. You're probably missing the dung. Find some and you'll be able to craft it.

Okay, my bad. I did not know of the filter system, I thought you just mean opening all the tabs.
I'm just an idiot. Yes, it had already been crafted therefore it was hidden from my alchemy menu. Many thanks.

Yes I am sure. You get it as part of that contract. And the OP has just confirmed this by stating he does in fact have the recipe and it had already been crafted earlier.

You can BUY lots of things in this game. Most of the recipes for potions, bombs, oils, you can actually loot for free. Bet you didn't know that. And yes you can buy the chort lure recipe as well.

My point, which seems to be eluding you completely, is that you don't HAVE to buy it for the contract. You will receive it automatically as you do the tasks involved. So if you already had it by looting or buying it, you had the option of crafting it before doing that contract OR, now here is where it might be a bit beyond your ability to grasp the concept -- you will automatically be given the recipe so that you can complete that contract. Voila!

I played the freaking game six times since it was first released over two years ago. But please, I love being told what's what in the game by someone who's only just come to it.
