New Player / Noob Here [Need help with the quest "Evil's First Soft Touches"]

Hello,

I can't pass this quest because there's a monster (Drowner) guarding the cave area. And of course this monster is more powerful than me, I died just by getting touched from that monster. Dafak? o_o

What am I suppose to do to pass this quest?
How do I get a higher level weapon & armor?

If the monster has the skull on top of the name you should wait. You can still beat it but It's gonna take you time, a lot of oil (Necrofages oil) and dodges and rolls. The HOS expansion is level 30 recomended... at least 25.

You should look for the Hattori guy who do the best weapons, do its quest. and The woman at the baron place is the one for the best armor for now.

why did you begin an expansion at such an early stage? they're much higher levelled than the base missions at the start
beat the main game first then play the expansions

Always check the level beside each quest from your journal. Evil's First Soft Touches is a level 32 quest while you are just starting the game. Obviously you'll get screwed over if you try to attempt it now.
