Sorry it's definitely out of context and suppossed to not be posted here but, this is the only gaming related forum that i participate. And no, i'm not that kind of person or weebs who ridiculously attracted with fictional character. I used to think a fictional character as a character nothing less nothing more with its own personality and so on. But this girl kinda different, i liked her from every aspect, her personality, physical appearance, character, and her story. She's hot, adorable, charming and for sure, cute ( and please to not telling me that she's geralt's daughter, stop lusting your daughter and so on because i assume her as a whole person not a part of my family as if other people assuming themself as Geralt ). So what do you guys think? Is it normal?

I'm not sure if this is a troll thread, but I'll give you the benefit of doubt because I know for a fact there are people like that out there.

To answer your question, it's normal if you are 15 or younger. Not otherwise. And no, this girl is no different because she's a fictional character like any other. If she were a real character she probably wouldn't care about you because you have nothing she might want. And she'd already have a boyfriend by the time you came across her. If you confessed your love to her she'd probably ask you to get in line. Though none of this would even happen since she would stay in a country completely different from yours. So your chances of even meeting her would be close to zero, much less forming a relationship. But you can go ahead and jack it to her all you want because she's fictional.

Therefore, treat her for what she is... a game character. You'll be better off that way. Find a girl in your peer group either at school/college/work who you are attracted to even a little because that's the best you'll get, but try to be a bit more discrete with your desperation because no girl likes that, even the average ones.

okay. let's break it down a bit. first off, you're brave but you probably don't know it. i doubt many people would have the courage to voice what you have. maybe not the same situation, but we all have done/are doing/will do something we are not comfortable with.

this is potentially a problem, as it might suggest you have trouble discerning fantasy from reality. let me repeat, the fact you had a wank over a fantasy girl is not much different from porn- it's all fantasy. what you might want to do, if you feel you are confused about this, is go talk to a psychologist. there may be simple reasons that you can work on as to why you feel in love with ciri. if you also feel that capacity with real people it's no big deal- how often do you hear someone say they "love" a character in a story? as long as you can see it for what it is- idealistic love that is an echo of the real thing, it's no big deal. but if ciri is an obsessive love that has you excluding the possibility of a real person, it might help to talk to someone.

I dunno, i've been single for over 5 years and i think that might be a reason. Thanks everyone for convincing me that i should stop. And yes most of you right, i've realized at the time i wrote the discussion that it isn't normal but i just, need to know how bad you people think it is.
