Throughout the games;(I say that before everyone leaps in with "but in the books.." I did not read the books, but that is something I intend to remedy in the near future) it seems to me that Shani is the only one to shoot straight with Geralt, and to understand that a Witcher's Path is bound to be a lonely one. Both of them wanted a family,(at least in my playthroughs) but both knew that was an unrealistic goal(Witcher sterility notwithstanding).
All that aside, Shani also recognized that while the attraction between healer/warrior cannot be denied, it is a diificult thing to make work. Warriors tend to cause the damage healers seek to repair.
The sitcom MASH(this is one for the Old Fart's Coffee House), and the character of Col. Potter(a military surgeon during the Korean conflict for those unfamiliar) summed up the struggle between warrior and healer in one profound statement(forgive me if it's paraphrased and not quite verbatim, it was a long time ago):
"How are we supposed to save them if they keep inventing better ways to kill each other?"
Any man that like mean women asYen are just pathetic losers!
Triss or no romance at all! haha
"better alone than in bad company"

Am I witnessing a stroke?
Outside of Witcher 3, only Lara Croft beats Triss.
Sigh. Can of worms officially opened.
Triss is not nice. She pretends to be nice, and even has a moment nearing redemption if she helps get the mages out of Novigrad. She is every bit as manipulative as Yennefer, just a bit more subtle about it.
In that sense, she is worse than Yennefer. At least Yennefer is somewhat honest about her intentions.
The Yennefer fanboys seem to confuse a "strong, independent, woman" with a cold-hearted manipulative b**ch. There is a difference.
Conversely, there is nothing 'masculine' about allowing such a woman to manipulate everyone around them, and tread on people like a doormat.
What is 'masculine'? Having the stones to tell such people to ♥♥♥♥ off and leave you be. That is a strong, independent person.
LOL
Yep I too like Shani more though some of dialog in TW1 with Shani's just creepy... :o But my #1 must be Abigail from village in TW1 <3 And best one night stand in TW3 imo was with Keira
Problem with normal women for Geralt they quickly age and die like in that Highlander movie :/
Interesting.
