Missing Son - Morvudd Glitch

I've got a glitch in which Morvudd completely refuses to blind Geralt and run away, which would trigger the second half of the fight. I can whittle him down to 0 health and he will die, but the quest objective of 'Kill the Fiend' never changes.

I've reloaded this fight so many times, gone away and meditated for 24 hours, come back at a higher level, made sure to examine everything before fighting him, making sure not to have god mode on, not having any cat potions, not killing him too quickly.. I'm out of ideas, anyone got any?

I've tried damaging him slowly, then dodging around him while he goes through his attacks, but he just cycles through his attacks indefinitely. :(

FINALLY! For some reason, installing the Console Command mod, and switching to Ciri, fixed it!
