I guess ill hold to mine for now and see.
2/3/5% for weapon runes. 5/7/10% for armor runes.
Just 5% more damage on Igni for instance, of is more useful than that?
Sign Intensity makes all signs stronger. For instance, 1 sign intensity increases the chance for Igni to burn by 0.5% and its damage by 1%. So 5 igni intensity means +2.5% chance to burn and +5% damage.
So generally, higher intensity means better signs.

You're welcome!
For example: greater Greater Stribog Runestone gives a 5 percent chance to stagger (per hit). If you have three, you have a 15 percent chance to stagger which is quite useful against powerful enemies. 4 hits will give you a chance of 48 percent to stagger your enemy.
Obviously this is really useful with a lot of skill points invested in fast-attack. Stun is even better, but I don't like the effect.
You can hit something like +80% intensity w/ glyphs (IIRC, 3 slots torso, 2 on two other pieces and one on the fourth piece) but it's a a pretty reasonable choice to use the torso slots for the Deflection glyphword. Runewords tend to be less popular AFAICT but Severance has its fans.
Dismantle=destroys weapon, saves runes
Remove upgrade=destroys runes, saves sword
The stagger, stun, freeze runes can be game breakingly OP. Any solo monster is basically doomed if you freeze it. I actually tend to use lesser weapon runes because they are more balanced but still give you the cool glowing effect on your blade.
The armor piercing runes are only useful early game. Armor is a 1 for 1 damage reduction so even the greater rune only gives you 40 damage back against armored targets. Except for the first few steel swords you use 40 damage isn't even worth it. Plus remember strong attacks automatically negate all armor anyway.
From what I remember only a handful of monsters even have armor; golems, trolls, elementals, wyverns/forktails, werewolves, ekimara/katakans, arachii, and endrega. So using armor piercing on a silver sword isn't very useful.
The pellar sells a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of them, coming in at a few thousand if you want to buy them all.
