Try these for money:
1. Store extra items in you Stash so it frees up your inventory.
2. Sell weapons to blacksmiths and armor to armorers.
3. Look for high value items such as Dimeterium Shackles from Witch Hunters.
4. Explore areas marked with "?" on your map.
5. Complete all Witcher Contracts and haggle for the price.
What items should I store in the stash?
I read that some merchants gives more crowns for that and other gives less, so where should I sell armours and swords?
About those shackles, where do I sell them? Or should I dismantle them?
Abit witcher contracts where I can find more? And if I level 40 and do level 15 contracts, it gives tge same reward?
Only the most valuable ones. This includes Green (Witcher Gear) and Orange (Relic) weapons and armor.
Refer point 2 of previous comment.
Sell them to regular shopkeepers.
All Witcher contracts can be found from notice boards.
No. If you outlevel a quest by more than 5 levels then you only get 1/10th of the XP reward.
And about contracts, should I just search contracts to my level?
And why stash relic items and not sell?
And about general shopkeepers the same with them, the price is changes so where is the best place to sell?
All the time.
Yes I have now 130 max, where can I get more saddlbags? I thought that this is the best.
1. From my research all armorers pay the same price. So there is no difference among armorers when it comes to the same item.
2. You can accept any level's contracts from the notice board to attempt it later. Just make sure your level is near the contracts' level before actually trying to fight the monster since the monster will be of the same level as the contract is.
3. It's not compulsory to stash relics and you can sell them if you want. But since relic items are the rarest and highest grade items (outside craftable Witcher gear), I choose to store them for collector's value. It's upto you.
4. I try not to sell to shopkeepers. Only blacksmiths and armorers, since most of the loot you get will be either weapons or armor.
Regarding dimeterium shackles. they are an exception. Even if they are listed as "junk" you should sell them to blacksmiths (and not shopkeepers like I said before), since I found they offer the highest value for them.
About relics, I have already looted some but they seemed to be nothing, with low stats. So I sold them.
Anyway, I find that I have lot of used space and I don't know why, I found that all the horse items are really heavy, so I want to sell those i don't need and stash the trophies I don't use, where should I sell saddlebags?
And about other junk that I don't dismantling, where should I sell it?
And about making money, what do you recommend to do? Because I really want to craft Grandmaster Feline and upgrade my house.
Where I find those strongholds? And just farm on them and sell everything I got? And why don't kill the boss? And about selling, what you mean in town or tourney camp?
And thanks all to you for helping me!!
You might come across the same relic at different levels. For example you can get an Addan Deith sword at around level 15 and then again at around 25. You can keep the 25 version and sell the 15 one. That way you get best of both worlds.
I sell them at armorers.
Regular shopkeepers. Remember that dimeterium shackles and weapons should be sold to blacksmiths. Armor items to armorers.
Sell animal hides to shopkeepers. Horse and bear hides can make a lot of money. Loot everything. Craft silver swords and sell them to blacksmiths. Visit as many "?" locations as you can. Exchange florens and orens into crowns at the Vivaldi Bank in Novigrad.
(You're welcome)
Beauclair saddlebags add 110 to your inventory capacity. I know for sure they're sold by the armorer at the tourney grounds, but most armorers in Toussaint sell them I think.
There's also a skill with which you can increase your inventory capacity, but it's up to you if you think it's worth taking up a skill point and slot.
You can exchange florens and orens for crowns at the Cianfanelli Bank in Beauclair too btw, don't need to go back to Novigrad for that.
And yep, explore everything, loot everything, etc. Go back to Velen to clear some question marks if you have to, though I think you'll be okay just exploring Toussaint (I'm currently going through B&W for the first time and have picked up around 30k during the expansion so far).
You're gonna know a stronghold when you find it and you will eventually, if you kill the boss then the game will mark the area as complete thus no more bandit spawning.
I just started BnW, and I didn't know that the merchants gave other amount of crowns to other items they don't sell. And about the NPC who gave me the grandmaster quest I didn't know I can sell to him things. And I got relics but i sell them, because they don't good, they weaker than my mastercrafted feline swords and armor, maybe in the BnW I will get relics that are good.
About armors and swords, what should I wear? for BnW I could use only grandmaster and I should be fine? and what gear/swords you recommend me to get? some relics that are very good?
