Alzur's Legacy - The Witcher Fan Film
Just saw something which i thought to share with all you guys n' gals:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mZYtpbUWm0

It's a fan film being made by a couple of Polish guys and looks good. They're trying to portray events like an attack on Kaer Morhen, among other things. Familiar faces from the Witcher universe will be there. In my opinion, it's the next best thing we'll probably get to see in this universe before the Netflix series comes along.

Also, for any fans of The Hexer tv series, you'll probably like it as the guy who played Dandelion in that series also seems to be portraying him here. You can find out more here and also support them if you wish:

P.S: The dialogues will be Polish with English subtitles and for anyone getting confused, that's not the white haired witcher we're all familiar with but Lambert, one of his friends.

While you may be right but i sincerely doubt CDPR would try to put a spanner in the works of this film. If their past record is anything to go by, they even officially invited a cosplayer to portray Geralt in their conventions after seeing his efforts:

Note that CDPR didn't object to the use of their name towards the end of the video or the gog logo.

Also, other people have made similar efforts in the past with no complaints by CDPR:

Regarding Paramount, it is a movie production studio and imo that's why that situation arose with Axanar. I think CDPR has the rights to make games on the Witcher universe only, not interfere in any movies. The complaints, if any, may arise from the author of the books Andrzej Sapkowski and Netflix because they may own the rights for such productions. The makers of this film may have taken Sapkowski's permission. On Netflix, i honestly don't know.
