Accidentally chose to NOT simulate Witcher 2 save. Can I fix it?

So I just started my 3rd play through of the game, but before I started I couldn't remember which option gives you the questions in Vizima. (I know, I should've looked it up on the spot) Apparently after 9 hours in the prologue area, I realized I made the wrong choice. Unlike my first play through where I chose to simulate, I made the exact same mistake in my 2nd play through.

Is there any to edit the save somehow to where I can get these questions without having to start over? I'm still in Vizima. Just after meeting the emperor.

And, FYI, those questions occur while you are being shaved BEFORE you meet the emperor.

I'm aware it's before. This is my 3rd play through, and I've done both. But 9 hours is a bit too far for me. I'm just gonna accept it, even though I shouldn't have to. It shouldn't lock you out of it. after the game starts.

I am necroing this. So from what I understand that command should open some dialogue to choose the simulation options. But for me in version 4.04a, the command does not open anything. I am still in White Orchard and have only done one side quest.

Nevermind. I just read that it activates the dialogue options at the palace.
