I keep seeing this huge whale in Skellige
what is this about?

There are whales in Skellige waters. There is also a huge mythical white whale that you might see, or maybe not :steamhappy:

Its just a little atmospheric event that occurs in Skellige from time to time, but the whale isnt an actual entity in the game. It wont attack you or anything.

I definately wouldnt call them rare. Ive seen up to 2 at a time in the Kaer Trolde bay, and a 3rd that appeared a second after one of the first 2 disspeared.
