Quest bug : "In wolf's clothing", can't get rid of the werewolf in the garden.

This quest is absolutely ruining the experience and immersion of this great game, basically what I whink happened is : whilst I was going trough with Yennefer on the main quest to make that dead body talk, I accidentaly interacted with Morkvag, and he told me I had to cure him and bla bla bla, I just killed him with my sowrd ( then I thought the quest was over ).....and whilst looking on my Quests I saw that this wasn't the case, and basically I had to do all these detailed steps to complete the quest. But then I tried killing Morkvag again...Ii didn't work he just respawns and so I try to make him eat rotten flesh...it still dosen't work. I seriously don't know what to do, I can't reload the game, I'm now in Skellige about to face Eredin, and there is no way in hell I am restarting the game because of a dumb glitch. I did my research and it is quite a common bug, but none of the forums on Reddit or anywhere else helped me. Is there a way around this ? And I apologise if the sentences that I have written are disdainful, I'm just really ticked off and I'd like this problem to be solved.
