Also - the books are translated to English and they are widely available. I highly recommend them!

LOL. It's from a polish tv series on the witcher. Apparently there's the whole series on him on youtube. The production values are very poor and on par with low budget tv shows from the 90's. Though i can't say about the translations since i don't know a word of polish. It's funny watching this with friends. Especially the way they depict Geralt killing monsters due to low budget and cg animations. Be prepared for some major cringe :)
Realism and immersion are usually abandoned for the sake of flashy action. Sadly W3 is the forerunner in this matter, which is quite sad since the previous games handled this much better, as well as other, even AAA, titles.
Taking a nuke to the dome with no after effect at all? What in tw3 is even close to that? That rivals that stupid ♥♥♥♥ in Indiana Jones with the fridge (that the vastly superior NV even made fun of)
@OP: forget TV just read Last Wish and Sword of Destinity short story books by Sapkowski.
Wow. That looks cheesy a/f. And yes, I would definitely watch it.

PS: LOL, I inserted that clip just as a chance to see how they showed him on TV. It would not be wise to begin the initiation into the witcher universe from that show. And i'm not sure about the translations. Besides, i doubt anyone who's been spoiled with shows like GoT will find it remotely watchable. But that's how they made them then with low budget and not enough cg. Though cheesy, i think shows like these have their own charm and i do like to watch them from time to time.

Get them all
Uhm, It wasnt like that exactly.
Yennefer and Geralt were both in that same village called Blaviken, and there happened a thing between Geralt and yennefer versus some other people, and when villagers saw what was happening the VILLAGERS attacked yennefer and Geralt thinking they were there to raid the town, Geralt defended yennefer and killed most of the Village folk in order to save her, and failing that,Geralt was impaled with a Pitchfork by a local Villager.
Cirilla came and rescued both Yennefer and Geralt, teleporting them away from the scene, and Cirilla took geralt to be healed by a mage friend of hers.
The polish TV series was a cannon, it should NOT be mixed with the books. They took a lot of creative pushes and got some things wrong in that TV series compared to the old books also, including why he was called the butcher of blaviken.
The "Butcher of Blaviken" comes from the way Geralt murdered the townfolk who were attacking Yennefer.
Also - The tv show is not cannon.
