What did you choose? Phantom of eldeberg - lighthouse keeper.
So, after finding out that he was working with bandits and getting ships to shipwreck on shore, did you tell him to leave, or let him remain?

I decided to make him leave, even if he did learn his lesson, he needed SOME kind of punishment for his actions.

I did the same because even if he did learn his lesson, I could not be sure the lesson would stick, nor that his accomplices wouldn't blackmail him into forgetting it. Would've been nice if they added to the dialog "... and if I ever hear of you care-taking another lighthouse elsewhere..."

Honestly though he's responsible for a great many deaths, all murders really, and probably deserves a much harsher punishment.

I forget how to actually find out he was involved with the bandits. I found out on my first 2 play throughs and on my third I couldn't remember what to do, I was half asleep while doing that quest though. Is it a journal or something in the lighthouse?

I had him leave. I believe it doesn't affect anything though.
