"Ugly baby" bugged, can't continue main story
Long story short, I now need to do the Ugly Baby quest but it's bugged, as i need to help Yen with the mission "Disturbed" (if i remember correctly) but none of them show me a waypoint, so i dont know where to go. On the map of the whole world it shows me Khaer (and for Ugly Baby even Velen) but if i zoom or go there there are no waypoint. What shall i do?

Did you do "Nameless"? That's the quest with Yen that leads up to "Ugly Baby".

Following the "Echoes of the Past" quest with Yen, the one where you helped her "borrow" that mask from Ermion to use it in the destroyed forest to learn what happened to Ciri there, it automatically leads into the "Missing Persons" quest.

You go with Yen to Lofoten to investigate the village where Ciri was reported to have been. You learn about Craven there and the attack by the Wild Hunt. And you learn about Morkvarg at Freya's Garden. This leads to two related quests, "In Wolf's Clothing" and "Nameless".

"Nameless" branches out to show you what happened to Ciri by playing as her in "The Calm Before the Storm". At the end of it you see Uma which leads back to "Nameless" once again.

Finishing "Nameless" leads to "Ugly Baby". This assumes that you have done "Family Matters" prior to this in which you would have met Uma, the subject of the "Ugly Baby" quest. But if you haven't, Yen gives you an alternate lead at the end of "Nameless". She mentions someone you should contact for more information about this deformed creature, a Jarl Donar, who had Uma in his care for a time. This opens up "A Mysterious Passenger".

If you have already completed "Family Matters," "Hunting a Witch," and are done with most things in Velen and Novigrad, and this line of quests involving the werewolf at the garden are now completed, you should have a waypoint leading you to meet Yen in Larvik for the start of "The Last Wish" unless you've already found Uma at Crow's Perch, Velen.

For Uma, you can go find Jarl Donar and ask him about the creature for the "A Mysterious Passenger" quest and it will lead you to Crow's Perch. Or you can just head there (that's the waypoing in Velen) and speak with the Sargeant there. Find and take Uma to Kaer Morhen.

For Yennefer, you can go to Larvik, Skellige and meet up with her there for "The Last Wish".

Otherwise, you can check your Journal and look through your quests, both main and secondary to see what's open to you. Go through them, making one active and find its waypoint on the map. Proceed from there.

Already done everything, even the quest with the other 2 witchers. Now I'm sitting in Khaer with Vesemir playing with Uma and nothing i can do

Okay so you might soon run into a bug here with your game, because you did the missions in a order that the developers didn't expected you to do.

have you tried going up the tower? from the hallway, the first door to your right, and then the door to your left takes you to a big stairway, climb up the stairway and see if the quest triggers.

another user who did things in the order that i think you did ran into an issue where the quests wouldn't trigger due to him doing the quest in a weird order.
He ultimately managed to solve his issue by sending his savefile to another user and that user then making the quest trigger.

So try going up to the room where Yen is and see if triggers, if it doesn't, the only way that i know to fix this would be to get another player to try and trigger the mission on a different computer.

It didn't work. I'll post here my latest save, if someone could help i'd appreciate.

I used your save:
I went straight to Yennefer in the tower behind the kitchen, and the quest continued.

Then he'll miss all conversations. I want to confirm that he has actually gone up the tower behind the kitchen to find Yennefer and nothing happened there.

Well i'll assume that he already went there, besides he is not the first one to run into this issue, and the only way that i know to fix the bug is to get another person in another computer to try it.

but it any case i guess is possible that he missed the location.
So OP, before trying my save file, make sure you are going into the right place.

check this video https://youtu.be/hPwf6parMWo?t=3m50s

go where he's going and check it

I went in the tower on the right as soon as I enter the castle, is that right? if not, where do i need to go? Can you provide a screenshot of the map?

Btw, thanks a lot

Found it in the meantime on my own, thanks! Finally I can continue! I dont even know how to thank you all.
Two things to end: First, ♥♥♥♥ that bug.
Secondly, the conversation bugged out, as there was a Yen talking to me and a Yen watching the crystals. It was funny
♠.brT Feb 12, 2017 @ 2:20pm
yeah annoying bug, and the second bug with double yennefer is also a symptom of doing the missions in a different order. (you are supposed to talk to yennefer first, but unfortunately the developers made it very easy for the player to switch missions before reaching yen, therefore bugging the entire mission)

interesting that your able to solve it on your own though.

anyway have fun.

Well, the conversation has a line if i did the other mission first. When Yen tells me to help the others 2, Geralt says that he already did that. So... I can do them before, but I will bug the game.

Another bug in this mission is that if you teleport away after killing the big bird (sorry, still need to learn names) with the witcher, the mission tells you to go to Khaer but if you go there nothings happens. You have to go back to the cave and trigger a conversation and then a run..
I can tp when i want thanks to a mod.
♠.brT Feb 12, 2017 @ 2:26pm
I know it has, but the developers obviously didn't test it, because they didn't expect people to do the missions that way.

And that mod broke game there :P Surely CDPR made scripting mistakes here and there but it's impossible to make scripts even mod-proof on top.
