Meteorite Ignots
The tavern west of Hierarch Square fast travel sign (in Novigrad) has at least 4 ignots.

Just thought I would call this out seeing as there are many threads but no clear answers as to locations to find them. Strangely, stealing seems to be the most effective way to find them.

**UPDATE**

You can BUY Meteorite ORE and IGNOTS slightly south of the Bank in Hierach Sqaure in Novigrad, at the Journeyman Blacksmith in the plaza. At a good price.

I dismantle weapons constantly and have more meteorite ingots than I know what to do with. I don't remember with certainty which weapons yield which ingots, but if folks are having a hard time finding them, I'll make a note of posting a few sword names here next time I get a few out of a sword.

That would be great, seeing as this will be one of the first things that pop up when google searching Meteorite ingredients (there are almost no posts on it).

Dismantle for Meteorite Ingot or Ore
Shiadhal's Armor (relic)
Dull Meteorite Axe Head (junk)

Dismantle for Meteorite Silver Ingot
These ingots can be dismantled to yield meteorite ingots.
Azure Wrath (relic, silver sword)
Reach of the Damned (relic, silver sword)

General Acquisition Advice
Remember to loot/steal everything you can. Meteorite ore/ingot appear most common in the random loot tables, and are literally everywhere. I found one in White Orchard at level 1, and they pop up every so often.

Use the dismantle option via the crafting menu to check items before blindly selling them off. If you need some meteorite ingots, dismantle an item instead of selling it.

Generally speaking, if a player loots even half of the available containers, runs some contracts, and hits some treasure nodes on the side, it is unlikely they will ever lack for this particular reagent when needed. Worst case scenario, hit up all the smiths on the map until you can find a few to buy. You don't need a ton of them, anyway, as it won't be long before you're farming dimeritium, cured draconid hide, and slyzard hides.

Glad to help! BTW, I don't wish to nitpick, but if you want search engines to pick up on this, you might want to fix the spelling of the topic. Cheers mate!
