Is The Beast of Beauclair weak to Beast Oil?
So this sounds like a silly question, but I noticed that the Beast of Beauclair is listed under the Beast tab in the bestiary. Does this mean that he's actually weak to Beast Oil and not Vampire Oil?

He's a vampire, so Vamp Oil and Black Blood.

Detlaff is a vampire, yes, but the Beast of Beauclair is, according to the bestiary, a beast

well, he is a vampire, anyway beast oil would not work since you need to use the silver sword for him.

You can apply Beast Oil to the silver sword, iirc.

you are right, it's the hangman venon that you can't apply to silver sword. i stand corrected.

Yeah, I think hangman's is the only one that's exclusive to steel; the silver sword has TONS of exclusive oils.

Beast of Beaucliar not mean literally beast...

*frown* Thought that the entry showed up in the Beast section at the very beginning, but quickly moves to the Vampire section when you're told flat-out that it's a vampire named Detlaff.
