I was told that using console commands breaks achievements and stuff.
But doesn't that mean i can literally clear quite a few achievements by just using console commands..?
So? Achievements don't really matter for anything.
Unless the achievements are secured, you could probably get all the achievements without even ever playing the game.
Ah.. Well that kinda defeats my purpose of grinding for the hard ones..
For what it's worth, I managed a death march dry run rather easily (after learning combat) without using a single decoction, as I spent the entire game shamefully believing that every decoction was a single-use item. :)
I very much doubt that OP feels the need to actually use the Doppler decoction. He probably just wants it for the sake of having all of the alchemy stuff.
Well the only one i'm struggling with right now is the 50 headshots with crossbow, as the hit detection with it is rather unrealiable
I share your frustration. I cleared that one after most of my others in order to take the difficulty slider down. Also used the respawning at Devil's Pit to make it easier to repeat the action. This is the only achievement I found overly tedious; 10 would've sufficed.
At least nothing is locked behind it, like in-game equipment you can't get any other way -- something to do to challenge yourself if you like, but not really missing out if you don't.
50 headshots is a pretty goofy achievement for W3 considering that the crossbow has relatively limited use -- decent for wounding flying enemies, godly underwater since it's literally the only weapon you can use, but you have to have a pretty strange build to prefer a crossbow to other weapons on bandits and other land-bound enemies in general. Cat Eyes + full Marksmanship + fast attacks, exploding bolts?

As for decoctions -- yes, there's one chance only for Doppler, and Succubus is also pretty limited with two chances, both of which situations can be resolved peacefully.
