Witcher 3 - 1440p Gsync - Asus PG278QR 165Hz
So far the jump from 1080p to 1440p is kind of Okay.. i think..
I'm actually more excited by the fact I have two monitors that I can multitask off of!.. lol

Anyways.. I'm using Gsync and I notice in that in the Main Menu & Pause Screen the Framerate is ridiculously jumping up to 3000 frames.

Now I don't want to fry my GPU. So, can someone please suggest how I can avoid this?
Earlier I used to lock it to Vsync. Now I have gsync so what do I do?

If it's paused and jumping that high, nothing will happen. If it was 3000 frames during gameplay, then there would be a problem.

In Saints Row 3, I can hit 9000 fps on the intro screen. Nothing to worry about.

Enable VSync in the NVIDIA Control Panel (Global Settings) which limits the game to your monitor’s refresh rate. The Vsync option in the NVIDIA Control Panel is a special type of G-Sync-aware VSync, which only kicks in at high framerates. NVIDIA has optimized this to work well with G-Sync. The Vsync option in your games is the more traditional type, which is best left off.
