The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Statistiche:
Witcher 3 worth playing again after months?
So I had the honor of playing through Witcher 3. Great game, really. At first I had a hard time getting into it, but the story got good and really enjoyed it. I didn't bother doing ANY side ♥♥♥♥ or DLC. I want to play through it again. No new game plus, just a brand new save. I was thinking of sort of forgetting the story and going off to do side quest and maybe even the DLC again, haven't done any yet.

As if rereading a good book. Absolutely worth it if you like it :)
Honestly? Probably not. There's not much new content to uncover in a second playthrough, unlike the first two Witcher games. Instead, I'd recommend playing them (for the first time, or again; they're just that good!).
I definitely would.
But I'm a Witcher 3 Junkie.
You can disregard the main quest though if you wish; though it does help get you leveled up to HoS/B & W quicker.
But it's a great world to poke around in if you haven't done that much outside of the main quest.

I don't see myself playing it ever again after two full playthroughs plus maybe half. Perhaps one day I do BaW if i've not much else to do but playing HoS last I don't think I could tolerate weaker craftmanship.

Yes, I think both expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are very much worth playing through. They provide more quality content then many full price games. Also, side quests are not simple fillers, even some short ones have interesting characters and tough choices.

Yes it's definitely worth it. The sidequests in this game are of the highest quality. There are no bring X amount of stuff and even simple fetch quests have a story to them so no two quests feel the same.

Worth.
I do same few weaks ago.
Main quest + ~90% side-qests + 2 DLC - 134 hours on second difficulty without enemy auto-leveling.
I tottally happy and sure i replay game after few years.

If I said no, would you even listen? Probably not. So why ask the question in the first place?

Why would you assume I wouldn't? I'm having a hard time understanding, why question wether or not I would or wouldn't if you don't even know my answer to your first question?

Sure, if the majority of comments influenced me and only me to not to then no I wouldn't. If someone said the right thing that did influence me then sure I would. I fail to understand your point at all.

Thanks for your comment, sounds like I might be getting back into it again!

Ofc it is. Get some mods, play on death march.

get the Icy Plains mod, you won't regret it
I really enjoyed the DLC, and my first playthrough I was mostly focused on the main quests as well and have since gone back through to do all the little side quests. The quests are all pretty unique and interesting, even the shorter ones. I also went through the main story and made different choices to get different endings and such. I personally think its worth it, the DLC is really really good. Like the others have said as well, adding mods and increasing the difficulty settings can make it a fresh experience too.

The Keira Metz quests are definitely worth slipping in (Note that it has a Place of Power that you can only get at by doing her questline. - There's a Places of Power that can only be accessed by certain missions; both Main and Side missions).
Also are the ones with Vernon Roach, Dykstra/Thaler, the An Craite's have good side quests as well. - There's a nice sword reward from Crach An Craite...

I don't think there's been a single time it's been a useful sword. Witcher Gear >>>>>>>>> all other gear, ESPECIALLY quest gear. Quest rewards are universally terrible.
