Is the number of awards completly random or does it depend on your rank? Because I was #2 in my tier as well and I only got two rewards. Not sure if this was a glitch or not.

If you look in the tournament standings gold = 3, silver = 2, bronze = 1. it should tell you where u are at.

i got a Shell Shock Helm(gold in color)(hair troll), Pit Helm(Gold in Color)(Biggest Helm slot) and Shining Skewer (Gold in color)(2nd sword slot)for being 5th

Your placement doesn't matter. All that matters is whether you're gold, silver or bronze. Both FAQ section covers it, and that I've gotten 1st like four times now and have gotten nothing special.

There's no difference in reward between ranks. Just the tiers. (3 - Bronze, 2 - Silver, and 1 - Gold). Which give 1, 2, and 3 pit reward items respectively.

Yes. Just fancy looking gold equipment that's actually the most common equipment in the game since everyone gets 1-3 pieces per day.

it would be much more cool if the tournaments were like once a week so they are rare

You can do that with any equipment, as long as you find/buy it in sets of 3-6 depending on your team makeup. There's just a weird stigma with gamers and the color gold I guess.

Some just looks good. Like spidaur golden legs combination with "Why" haircut (propeller alike blonde hair). Rapier with golden hand fit Sofia well. Goldcup in cupcake head just nice (could be that I just not recruited cupcakes beside Gluten and one copcake so anything new looks pleasant).
