Should I kill or make a pact with LLengrath??
Sort of leaning towards the pact since there is a perma stat bonus involved but then I am missing out on the loot and the bog dragon scales that can be used to upgrade my armor to legendary.

I like to kill llengrath because she's a stuck up ♥♥♥♥♥. The only reason you need

You're almost at the end of the game anyway, most likely. Up to you how much you want the loot. She reappears in the second game, so killing her does affect your relationship with the Circle, a little. Then again none of them really like each other, so... do what your character would do.

You get her grimoire as well with unique spells.

I looked through the spells, they are not quite as interesting as concelhauts doom hammer. Not sure if it would actually help going against Kaoto.

Huh... I thought having the option to transfer your saves over to the second game would affect those encounters in Deadfire.

I think my character will likely make a pact. Llengrath doesn't strike me as particularly evil, a little condescending perhaps but her goal is mostly to keep the knowledge of Concelhauts dark magic hidden from the rest of the world with good reason. Killing her felt good but the rewards were not quite as useful seeing as how I have maxxed out everything for most of my party members. You also get a couple of bog dragon scales as part of the deal with making the pact.

Oooh can you recruit her and the dragons for the Yen Wood army???

The best dialogue option in the second game when arkemyr comments on you killing concelhaut and llengrath "they say when you kill two circle mages, the third is free".

Unfortunately killing him doesn't stop his information from getting out, as he comes back in the second game and can never truly be killed.

Äh Mental and Physical Shield makes you immune against every status alignment.

Well I have already moved on to the sequel. Problem is that I did this quest towards the end of White Marsh part 2 so there wasn't a lot of places it would actually be of much use and am already overpowered for the final showdown in the base game. I literally manhandled Thaos with auto attacks on my first try.
