* Knights of the Crucible
* The Dozens
* House Doemenel
The Doemenels are not animancers, but a family with ambitions in the Dyrwood. They employ thugs and thieves.
You can talk to all three factions and accept a first quest from them. You can complete those quest for each faction - BUT asking for the next question will lock you into that faction as your primary ally.
Fortunately, you don't need to team up with any of those three factions, since the story implements a safe way out in case you mess up reputation with all of them.
However, choosing a faction will be rewarded with cash or an item or a unique talent for the Watcher.
On the other hand, one dungeon location related to their quest line will also be available later, if you don't team up with them.
