Showstopper bug w/ cipher in Cad Nua dungeon 1

Hello All,

Have a second campaign going with a ciper as the main character.

As soon as I clear out the "T" of spiders at the entrance to the stronghold dungeon the game gets locked into "battle mode" and will not release even when all the beasties are dead. This makes it impossible to save the game or leave that level.

Anyone else seeing this? This is on OSX.

My other campaign is a paladin (and on Linux) and I did not experience this, there.

does it happen everytime? Sometimes a buff or status effect wont come off after a fight, thus keeping battle going

look at combat log, maybe someone is still using an ability? If so, "maim"/ kill that character. Or maybe you summoned something? try to kill that as well. Maybe someone becomes stuck? You know what you must do - kill kiLL KILLL!!

At last there is autosave which always creates after loading to a location.

Hmm it does seem Kana (the chanter) is stuck in some sort of loop. Unfortunately I am at work and will not get to check for a couple hours...

However, killing a PC in order to save the game seems a little extreme... :-)

Are you absolutely certain there are no more spiders at the bottom of the map? My game always locks into combat mode until I have cleared the spiders down in those cells.

joefitts63 - there are still some left at the far end, I believe. I will clean them out now and update (just got in).

Hmm. Interesting. Cleaning out the rest of the spiders ended combat mode. I don't recall that happening on my first run through....

Still seems like Kana is getting stuck in some sort of loop although, in truth, I am not very exoerienced with the chanter class - don't see any way to post a screenshot.

My last 4 or 5 starts (yes, I restart a lot trying out different characters) I have always had that problem, with or without Kana.Strangely, I also do not remember having the problem my very first play through.
