there are diffrent approaches though: many favor the barb, i personaly love offensive palas as offtanks. but keep in mind they gonna get hurt, so decide how to build your def (resolve, cons, etc.).
currently running a pala (off) with 17m, 10c , 14r as base and it`s enough by a far strecht. but i took plate armor, which might not be the best choice. get the offensive aura going (buffed version sporting crit), offensive talents (like 1.2 melee damage, etc.) and watch him tear everything apart...still having o-♥♥♥♥ skills like lay on hands for example.
what also works surprisingly good is a frontline druid, he can pretty much sustain himself in every situation, just the start can be a tad rough, but shapeshift counters that (boar is way stronger than it sounds).
Barbarians, since it is more likely that carnage will deal some meaningfull dmg after DR. Nature Godlike have already synergy with under 50% endurance.
