(Potential Spoilers) Berath and being a Priest, roleplay-wise
So, I kinda want to play through a 3rd time. First was a Bleak Walker Paladin, Second was a Barbarian. Both were fun to play, but didn't leave many roleplaying options open. I've only played on Expert mode, but are there many/any options on a Priest of Berath? Especially considering the end of the game?

I'm having a hard choice between a Cipher and a Priest. I know a Cipher gets some choices, but does a Priest?

I can't help you with the priest, but the Cipher really doesn't get that much extra based on it's class. We get one option that plays a very important role in a specific quest, but that can be achieved with the Grieving Mother in your party. You also have specific dialogue choices during the Grieving Mother conversations that equate to using intuition to get to specific answers more quickly, but ultimately bring you to the same options. Other than that there are maybe a very small amount of references (3-4) to the fact that your a Cipher but that have no extra dialogue choices or concequences attached to them. Same thing for being a Godlike, which made me sad.

I do know you a have a bit of options available for being a priest of Eothas though, especially with Eder's quest.

Thanks a lot! I guess Cipher is too unique roleplay wise. I was thinking Eothas, but considering that Berath gets mentioned a bunch of times in the game, plus flavor, it would be neat to play a Priest Clergyman of Berath.

I'm playing a priest of Berath but I havn't finished the game yet so I can't really say if it effects choices at the end. I have really enjoyed sticking to Berath's favoured dispositions - the Stoic and Rational choices as much as possible throughout the game from a roleplay perspective.

Have you gotten any special dialogue choices for being one?

When I met undead Raedric's challenge I was able to make the claim of also being a champion of Berath but I still had to fight him. I hadn't done Berath's 'god quest' in Twin Elms first though and I wonder now if doing that quest first might have made a difference.

I can't remember anything else specific (sorry)
