No Anthropomorphic race?!
I'm so disappointed by the lack of anthropomorphics. Final Fantasy has cat people and moogle people, World of Warcraft has panda people and wolf people, EverQuest had tiger people and frog people, I mean why even MAKE an RPG today without some kind of dog person race option?!

Heck even D&D has dragon people and demon people.

Because it's a serious approach to an authentic appearing fantasy world. And not a jrpg or mmo. PoE isn't created to to appease furrys or to offer any manga fan-service.

And there are Orlans. They are quite furry :p

In fact the godlike are those "half-demon people" in PoE.

Godlikes and shark people, also druids...

I'd say that this topic is silly, but that would be hypocrisy. I rolled an Orlan druid that can turn into an anthropomorphic Stelgaer only to discover there's a companion that is basically the same. My own RPG settings tend to have cat people of some sort as well.

Cause EVERY fantasy RPG has to have the exact same things, amirite?

You've never seen forums explode when a game doesn't have a wizard. It's scary.

But the rage at Gauntlet was immense.... and so Gauntlet kicked their rogue out of the party and replaced him with a wizard.

There must always be a Gandalf. o_o

Uh. There is a race with bear ears. You can transform into like 7 different spirit animals, and there's a race of pseudo half-aquatic giants.

There aren't any cat girls/dog men in most old DND/CRPG games, which this game was a throwback to. If you want them, mod them in yourself. There wasn't a huge calling for Furry/Anthro in classic CRPGs.

Uhm... aren't elves, dwarves, godlikes, orlans and aumanas anthropomorphic races?
I mean they surely "look like" humans without being it.

Indeed. I don't think the OP knows what 'anthropomorphic' means.

The wild orlan is very furry in nature and the Aumaua are like shark people (look at Kana Rua's picture with his shark teeth).
