There is a dozen classes I'd like to see that far, far outranks a Samurai/Ninja class.
I cannot see how not having two classes, that wouldn't neccessarily fit in the lore of this game has any impact on ones desire to play this game.
But there is one. It's called Fighter. Notice how the class isn't called Knight, Guardian, Berserker, Asura, Samurai, or Footsoldier. It's a generic brand "guy who fights things" and you define the type by how you spec him. You can make him super tanky with sword and board, or you can throw him in cloth armor, give him a pair of swords, jack up his Dexterity for maximum attack speed, and call him a ninja.
