Any reason to spare Nridek? Spoilers
You get the option to do so but if you do you cant complete one of the puzzels in the dungeon. Do you meet him again if you spare him?

No idea. It seemed like he was going to take his spider colony and spread them elsewhere.
Weapon isn't very good so it's not like you lose much. And you never meet him afterwards.

You won't meet him again and he isn't mentioned in the epilogue and i doubt he'll be important in an expansion or sequel. He's just unimportant.
Other than moral considerations? Not really, no.
Purely roleplaying implementation. Letting him go or not helps you define your character.

So if your primary concern is "What will I gain from letting you live? If nothing I'm ending your @ss" then shame on you you heartless meanie! Nridek just want to live in peace with his colony. But oooh nooooo - you just had to DESTROY THEIR FUTURE over a lousy spear didn't you? ;)
Sparing him also helps you avoid a fight. If you're out of camping supplies or soloing the gqme or whatever, that might be a useful option.

Planeforger, can you put black over your text. It would make it that much funny reading that as if it were a spoiler ;)
There is a reason actually.

Could you guys be more specific? Which DLC and which area or quest?
I can't find any reference to this anywhere online.

Thanks.

Mercy, benevolence. I can not think of anything else (and nothing less!).

As far as I know, no. I don´t know if in PoE II your actions can have repercusions about Nridek. I mean, see again that creature or something.

See you.

Actually, it is a scared creature. I can see no indication that it is kind, and that, had it been in power, would not have been trying to eat away at these insides for "the good of its colony" or for merely trespassing, or hell becomes it's a spider and spiders are the devil.

I don´t know if your character had enough Benevolent treat (that up with actions ingame, and dialogues, etc) and diplomacy, but with sufficient level of Benevolent, it is a nice creature and a reasonable specimen.

Nridek, last hope to protect colony and "little ones", defend territory, totally normal. I would threaten too to strangers if "merely" trespass my territory and I don´t know about intentions. Nridek can feel if you are good or cruel with talent related with touch your mind, and this is why I say you that can feel quickly if can speak with you or not. So, yes, nice creature this great spider. Like certain dragons. For instance, Sky dragon.

there is no reason to spare him, it gets you nothing. Killing it on the other hand gets you a nice 1 handed spear. And ignore the person who said it isn't a good spear, its a great 1 handed spear probably the best in the game. As long as you don't choose 2 powers that you can do yourself, it will become a great 1 handed spear if you choose

Reliable... 20% of grazes converted to hits.... you do more damage
Draining ... 20% hits converted to endurance.. one of the best powers on a weapon of a front line warrior. Heals as you hit.

combine this with your normal 3 weapon upgrades, you have a 5 power weapon. Stick on slaying, lash, and quality and you now have an excellent 1 handed spear, you won't find better.

For a tank character who isn't doing a lot of damage, Reliable and Draining aren't useful, and instead you can choose Marking/stunning and mayber Valiant.
