MINOR SPOILERS Choosing side to get into animancy hearing
I did a few things for the crimey house and now after hearing about the knights I would much prefer to get their favor. The only issue is that they wont let me in because of my ties to the criminal underworld. Is this related to my reputation with that house? Can I just murder the entire house to make the knights let me in at this point?

No, it's related to what you did for them. The first quest you do for a faction is free, but the moment you ACCEPT their second quest, you're locked in with them.

Even if you kill them all, the other factions won't have you.

Damn... Is this faction gonna be tied to me the rest of the game? I really dont want to be affiliated with theives for the rest of the game.

Hi
I've some problem with choosing side.
I've accepted "The Bronze Beneath the Lake" quest from Dozens (only accepted, so it's still active) and finished "Winds of Steel" from Knights. I'm a Champion to Knights and Mixed to Dozen but neither Dozen nor Knights want to invite me into animacy hearing.
So what now?

I read that you can actually go to the animancy hearing as a fourth party. Webb said that she would prefer you get a local group to represent since you will get trash talked if you dont.

You need to complete Bronze Beneath the Lake and the Dozens will invite you.

Basically, accepting the second faction quests locks you into that path, but you still have to complete it to get the invitation.

Thx, i'll try, but Dozen... :/.
I think I've accepted Bronze Beneath the Lake first and that was my mistake. Choosing side should be related to reputation with faction, not with second quest...

Your chosen faction doesn't matter anymore after the hearings, but it has an effect on your epilogues. You might end up with an ending you won't like, but that's just an assumption.

Yes that's possible if you can't get any good relation to any other faction anymore. I'm not sure if you're still able to get into the hearing using Hadred House (Webb's "faction"), but you might try by killing members of your current faction...

Unfortunately, completing the Lake doesn't help. Dozens say i'm Knights minion, Knights say i'm to close to Dozen... Killing everyone or 20h earlier save is not an option. They say patch 1.4 wll fix it...

Webb said that she would PREFER you get a local group to represent since you will get trash talked if you dont.
I would have speculated that this is catch-all to let you get on with the quest if you screw up too badly. I might consider trying this (e.g. kill the leaders of the three factions and then talk to Webb) if I had a closer save file

From the developer:
"...the 1.03 patch fixes being able to have both quests at once. However, the fix that resolves the problem retroactively (for save games where the quests were already accepted) is slated for 1.04 patch (it required extra testing, as it entailed reorganizing some dialogues' structures and that's something we rather handle with extra care).

In the meantime, if you've made either the Dozens or the Knights hostile then Webb will give you the invitation. There's no need to anger all factions for this to happen - as long as you have one of the factions' main quests (the second one they give you) then having made said faction hostile will work for now.

In your cases, since you've got the quests for both the Dozens and Knights, angering any of them will make Webb support you in the hearings.

Still, this is not the ideal situation until the retroactive fix is tested thoroughly but I hope that can get you going without much RPing sacrifice."

So i'm going to rough Dozens up a little...
