[Spoiler Question] Temple of Woedica

So I'm plodding along got to the Temple of Woedica in Defiance Bay and I have a choice, punch the Initiate in the face and take his mask (which goes against my characters morals), and go to the room with the cloaked figures, or I can just saunter in there sans-mask and layeth-down-yon-face-smacking. I've done it with taking the mask so far (Aloth was not amused - which seemed odd since he hates these guys), but will probably reload it and do it without the mask which results in a big ol fashion brawl. My question is do you still come out with all the same quests more or less if you go with plan 'layeth the smack down' as plan 'Watcher: 007'?

Not sure but I'm assuming that the general main storyline path will be the same either way.

Without mask you are like to get into a fight. Aloth is in fact a member of the Leaden Key, hence he is annoyed you smacked a colleague of his in the face to get the mask.

In the level before the actual Temple of Woedica, there is a clue given about acquiring the mask.

In the first level of the Catacombs, there was a point where the Watcher can use his/her abilities to discern that someone with a mask had been killed by trolls. Tracing the trolls will allow the Watcher to recover said mask

You should have gotten a mask from a corpse outside the room next to the spores and trolls. No need to smack a man.

Yeah you get the same quests. It is just a watcher soul reading dialogue but the outcome is the same.

There's a way to get in without the hood; I believe you need to pass a Resolve check.

Even better, once inside, with a high enough Resolve, when someone comments on your lack of hood, you can ask to borrow theirs, promising to bring it right back, and you'll get it!

I just talked my way through, think it might have been an Intelligence check. I remember my character saying something like "If I wasn't supposed to be here, I wouldn't know about it, right?"

Worked like a charm.
