Question about Druid Shapeship forms.
i am trying to build a Druid that relyes mostly on shape shifting and betting the hell out of anything that comes my way. and my question would be. what is the best form. out of the 5 possible forms. 3 of which would not fit the roll i seek. stag, wolf and bear seem a bit redundant. but what i would like to know is this. how dose the boar bleed effect compare to the cat high speed attack?

Shapeshifting has a limited duration and no Druid build can only rely on it, it's just an element among the numerous other tools of the Druid.

Boar is great since it is a little more durable with the regen. Bear gets the shout. Cat has a worse damage type than boar but against some enemys the attack speed + can really shine.
Stag is bugged so you get a passive stat bonus even when unshifted.

Don't forget to take the two weapon talent, Peasent, wild strike (maybe corrode), Vounerable attack, +1 transform per fight, and either greater wildstrike or element( maybe corrode) up
There is also an accessory that boosts your wildstrike.
You will need to build somewhat bulkier than the glasscannons but do not drop your int too much because transformation time scales with int.

ima quote myself here:
During early and mid levels the shapeshift focused druid flat out outperforms any glass cannon caster style. They also provide a better usage of cone spells and aoe arround the druid. They support the frontline greatly. In later levels when the druid tends to spamm his spells you will find yourself casting more than transforming. You still have advantages over the pure caster with your support and single target dmg but during the time spent casting you will be outperformed late game. Still not bad by any means and its serving me well in my path of the endless 6 druids run :)

)currently playing 2 werekats here( i have tried all the other shifts and the cat is the best for DPS simply because its speed boost can translate over AFTER the shift ends...so u still get 1.33x speed. I play my druids as duel wield Dex based interupters and then when i want raw dmg i shift them both into cats with shock dmg and tear through stuff....Dont expect them to stand up to dps but they will wreck as dps melees...I gave them both FAST endurance regen weapons so when they shift back they can heal if dmg is taken. Also in cat form your spells get a speed boost too and multiple Druids regens stack on each other. Skills you'll wants are duel wield, both druid dmg on hits and one of the element boosters I.E heart of the storms, also peasent weapon spec
