Champion of Berath Quest (Act 3 - Spoilers obviously)
This quest does not seem to spawn for me. The NPC doesn't appear in the Inn at Twin Elms and everyone in the castle is alive and well. My Stronghold is under attack by Raedric's undead and when I complete the game it mentions the grim ending for Gilded Vale. Is there any way to trigger this quest or is this another bug?

Yes, considering that his undead are attacking my keep and when I finish the game its basically talking about how undead Raedric has destroyed Gilded Vale...

Hmm. Where you looking carefully? The NPC is called "Frightened refugee" or something unassuming like that. Realy easy to miss. Othewise sorry, i do not know how to help more.

Well I'm just following the guide which tells me to go to the Celestial Sapling but there is no villager at the location shown by the guide, nor is there anyone by that name in the whole inn. Is the villager supposed to be in the Celestial Sapling or has he been moved to a different location since the guide?

He should be in Celestial Sapling.

I don't think it appeared the first time I was there. Perhaps time needs to pass a bit? Finish a certain quest first?

It's certinaly not a quest you need to finish, I've finished all quests except for this one and durance now, and the refugee (it's actually "Frightened Villager") didn't appear in this playthrough.

I did have a savegame right before I went to the inn the first time, and indeed - he was there. So he seems to be either a timed slot or it was a bug (I did travel a lot after going to the inn the first time). It's certainly not level dependent, at this point my whole party is level12 already.

Either you get the NPC in Hearthsong Inn (he's not there for me, but I didn't explore much of Hearthsong the first time I went there, so maybe it's timed), or you get a letter in your keep (talk to the statue) from undead Raedric himself. Check your statue, it should trigger the quest if I'm right.
