The fight is so hard than even with this bug (which only increase your damage by a fair amount, but only that), you struggle a lot. I spent 15H trying to figure out how i can win. I tried a lot of tactics, and this one allowed the kill.

But I did the rest of the run (99% of it, so) in a legit manner, as you can see here:

I played a Retaliation Barbarian (But Retaliation is useless in the final fight). It works because Retaliation uses Carnage (Barbarian Passive which transforms all melee attacks in an aoe), and also because "One Stands alone", adding 20 damage to all attacks if you have 2 melee ennemies.

I'm really sad i had to use bug. I wanted a 100% legit run. It's a 99% legit run. But it was impossible to beat Thaos without. :/

I'm currently running a retaliation barb as well. Very fun. I put my Pre and Res at 3 to make sure enemies hit the most time. Granted, I am not doing a solo run though. :P

For secondaries, did you pump stealth? (Wondering if lore + mass storm scrolls would work).

I pumped Mecanics.

In POTD, traps hits for 250-300 damage, including Raedric's hold. You can't really try to survive without.

I had:
3 Stealth
3 Athletics
4 lore (but you should have 6, for paralyzing scrolls)
10 mecanics (-> 9)
The rest in survival.

And i don't call it a "cheese", but an exploit bug :/ And i'm really sad i wasn't able to beat it without.

Well usually "You cheezed it" pretty much means "I am angry that I didn't figure out the glitch before you did"; but I agree, that's some accountability, right there.

The honesty makes up for it.

Pre-patch with paralyse scrolls you could have done it legit, but now I'm fairly sure they resist it :/

I've had Thaos petrified and killed (in a normal playthrough) without him doing any of the body switching - on top of various CCs, altough sometimes/often resisted, still working against the big guys aswell. I cant imagine it being truely impossible.

Edit: Which was after the patch, incase there has been anything buffed/nerfed.

Well, that may work. Except Thaos has 160 will and can buff himself to 260. So, the scroll of paralysis is useless.

Others classes may have this fight easier, but they will struggle a LOT before. Retaliation barbarian waltz through the game in TCS, but others classes don't.

Not discrediting you here, i can imagine in PotD CC may hit once every lifetime with the increased resistances.

If yes, then no, not really a Triple Crown Solo Run.

You are right, i did many, many tries on this fight (And i said so in the first post + the description, so, I was not trying to hide it), so this is why I said it was not really legit. But, to be honest, it's basically impossible to pass this fight on the first time, because it was REALLY random. An example is how the fight doesn't pause at the very beginning. If you pause yourself a bit too late, the judge is in melee range, and you can escape (perma prone). Thaos can OS you when he wants, etc etc.

This fight is overtuned for solo TCS, and that's why i savescummed + used bug. And to be honest, if you do this challenge and come to this point, unless it's heavily nerfed, you will understand, no matter if it looks like a fraud to you now.
