Trials of Durance Problem (spoilers)

So I'm right near the end of the game. With the Trials of Durance quest I need to talk to Durance about Magran teaming up with Woedica during the Saints War (and screwing over Durance).

The thing is, whenever I try to talk to him about it, I only get two conversation options. That it's a hunch and that his buddies all died (hence the symbols fading from his staff). He rejects both conversation options and I'm not sure what the hell to do. I've got no idea on what I can do to convince him. I've asked him about literally every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing, though all the conversation trees.

How do I open up whatever conversation option allows me to convince him?

Yea I came across this problem as well. Talk to him about EVERYTHING. You need to learn a few things to unlock the other 2 options. Go to Gilded Vale inn since it costs nothing to rest there. He will stop talking after a few questions and requires you to rest (super annoying requirement, really hate him for that).

1. Ask Durance about himself to learn about: Ashfall, the burning of his robes, his staff, the meaning of Durance.
2. Learn about the Godhammer, everything about it! Primarily what was sacrificed from him to create it.
3. Learn about Magran and why he seems to be antagonistic towards her despite worshipping her.

I believe once you have learned all that you will have 4 options instead of 2 when talking to him about Woedica.
