Fights are long and it's not so much Endurance that is an issue earlier on. It's running out of Health.
So dumping CON isn't a choice? What's a better attribute distribution for Druids, then? I imagine having MIG and INT max'd is essential for more damage/area per spell.
Though you might have to do some Everquest style Kiting gameplay where you run ahead of the enemy with your speed buff until you get enough points to summon.
id like to try druid or a fire godlike dracozzi paladin
as for druid, i find druid to be best built as a "battle mage" a tanky shield + 1hand that can cast spells. in this case i would max out res/con for the most important defensive stats that you'll need for this run + you will get WILL from res as well. you will need a decent amount of dex because it will be important to raise your action speed as much as possible assuming you will be using a drain 1handed weapon and you want to attack as fast as possible. overall might and int should be the lowest stats to go with, yeah they may control the dmg and area of effect but they are not as demanding as res/con in my opinion.
keep in mind that for shifting you will need to get in mele range and you will need a high deflection + endurance for that.
overall druid can potential be the best class in this game if played right.
I'm not sure about the 3 CON either, especially if it is a sacrifice for something like INT. When you die, chances are 99% of the time it will be because you didn't have enough endurance/health, not because your AoE's were slightly smaller or you ran a few seconds short on a duration.
But, I don't have any experience with this so maybe I'm wrong. Still, purposely giving yourself a rather hefty penalty on endurance and health doesn't seem like a great idea.
What build is the barbarian guy using?
Really, I'm not that knowledgeable on it, but the posts were quite detailed. I guess there was even one of the devs that said if someone completes it, to send in the save file to see if it was legit which furthers my suspicion that not many are doing this without exploits/cheats.
Worth noting that keep defenses on TOI are do or die. If you go into one of those, better be sure you can win else it's GG.
How's the auto-resolve work on that? I've only done one so far, an attack by the Leaden Key, and it was manual.
But you don't die? Because if it's cheap to build them again I'd rather not risk dying for it.
Although, IIRC when you accept it you face the event rested, right? And then you're returned to where you were, also rested? I'm not sure. That could be advantageous, because then you can just spam spells and go back.
