Buried Secrets Ending "Spoilers"
So I am trying to complete the conclusion of Buried secrets by killing Wertan and then returning the bones to Magistrate Urgeat. However I can't seem to get the dialogue option from the magistrate when I go to talk to him with the bones. Is there anyone that has successfully completed the quest this way? All the guides say it's possible but, I can reproduce it.

I got it to work. By just attacking him outright. Then talking to Urgeat.

THANK YOU! I was having a hard time trying to figure that one out too. Attacking him outright instead of through dialogue did it :)
