Stuck on quests to progress further in Defiance Bay

I currently have resolved 2 quests, however I didn't get credit for either, maybe because I was overzealous and killed the NPC's, but I did go through the conversation.

Quest 1: under Tasks: Missing Sentries. I found them in a crypt with some ghost lady mindcontrolling them. After a few conversation options, she attacked, everything died, no credit.

Quest 2: under Quests: At All Costs. I faced off with Verzano, someone came in and asked me to choose sides, seeing as I already killed most of house Doemenel, I sided with the requestor to kill Verzano, again, no credit for the quest.

Seeing as I am stuck on both, I can't really progress much in the Bay of Defiance (aptly named seemingly).

Any ideas? I've done too much other stuff to find a previous save to start over.

1: well you still have to turn it in :o you don't complete quests by just killing the mobs. The quest giver is the Wyla in the knight's HQ.

2: Not too sure about this one, but isn't this Pellagina's quest? I guess you have to go see the ambassador in the vailan ambassy.

Mine finished when I was transported outside. Pallengina was standing in front of the Vailian Trading Company. She was not there if I sided with Verzano. I think that is a bug but it may be bc I took the wrong side and fought with Verzano.

First of all, thanks for the response, sadly...

1) Wyla just inquires about my investigation when I speak with her, so no joy there. The little girl I rescued during the same stint is standing next to her.

2)I don't seem to find anyone by that name, and from what I can gather in the quest log, it says I delivered a package for him, now I gotta deal with him, which I did - then I ran around through all areas, spoke with all NPC's I could find and none lets me progress. Also, Pellagina's not outside either.

I think there is a bug in the "At all costs" quest. I redid mine bc there is a known bug if you side with Verzano. The quest may still work if he's killed in the fight but may not. I haven't seen a bug report for siding with the Doemenals but I didn't really look.

If you haven't done so already, you should probably check the Obsidian boards to see if these are known bugs.

Maybe you need to finish the main quest in the tower of Heritage Hill then. Only thing I can see.

I don't understand where you are in the second quest. Normally it goes like this: Verzano gives you a package to give to some nobody. You get busted by doemenel agents, they ask you if you don't want to work for them instead, but you don't have to choose yet. You go back to Vezano, tell him doemenel knows and is coming to kick his ass. Pallegina enters and mocks him. Then assassins arrive and you have to choose a side or just stay neutral. At this point I think the quest is over.

After that I don't know, I chose to stay neutral and Pallegina was happy with it, I think we just walked away as the assassins were going to kill Vezano. Anyway, whatever your choice I suppose you should have Pallegina join you and ask you to go see the ambassador with her for another quest.

ok, thanks, I'll try and find a save from earlier I guess :-)

And I did finish the tower thing, where I liberated the suffering fella at the top.
