After sneaking round the room numerous times, including the second skull, I eventually managed to find an online map with the precise location of the swtich. Thinking it a pointless errand since I'd already been there many times I sent my part over to the skull and activated scout mode. Bam, switch suddenly appeared.
Really, game, really? :P AH well, onwards with bloodthirsty rampaging.
Now I just have to choose which of two questionable people to side with. The bummer is I already killed the Animancer earlier in a desperate attempt to get through the mission since the switch wasn't showing up
Let's you loot both the castle and the bodies of your benefactors. Because, frankly, they're both useless.
Raedric just gave up and started lynching people in hopes that one of them dungoofditup and killing that person will suddenly solve everything. He also first killed a bunch of priests because they MIGHT have worshiped the wrong god, THEN lynches all animancers and most of the nurses/healers because they couldn't help, THEN gave that women in the cellar carte blanche to perform worse experiments than any of the people he lynched, while at the same time lynching MORE people for not following the tenets of the faith - several of which condemn animancy. Durrrrr.
Your quest giver is just a very ambitious little turd who hopes you will free up a throne for him.
Seriously, he sent a bunch of farmers and lowlifes against a fortified castle, escaped while they died, and then gets a bunch of mercenaries to do it for him for free. The only reward he offers is "keep whatever you looted", as if he could stop you.
He should have gone for professional help in the first place and kept his people alive.
I went to kill Raedric but then I saw the tuth - Raedric is at heart a good but desperate man so I went back and slew the lowlife usurper. Maybe with my help and the animancers help we will remove the plague, Raedric will make me filthy rich and the village will be happy.
Looking forward to see how it unfolds :)
