Josh Sawyer should be Fired
By acting in collusion with a friend from the Something Awful boards to give priority to removing something as small as a lyric over shared politics, he is acting in collusion against customers.

It is neither fair, ethical and therefore acceptable that a single individual has been given such prominent customer service.

It is neither fair, ethical nor therefore acceptable that a single backer has been targeted and strongarmed into changing their contribution.

The explanation given by Feargus Urquhart is irrational, unbelievable and unacceptable in the first instance.

He has degraded the reputation of the company and has cost Obsidian money.

I will shake my head sadly when everything on this list comes true:

Honestly, Obsidian only did what was good for future business unfortunately. Or did they?

Step 1: Use Nostalgia to save the company, milk money out of those interested and Fans.

Step 2: Step 2 Deliver on most things they promised with compromises made along the way

Step 3: Sell the Game

Step 4: Deal with controversy in the worst way possible and backstab a good portion of their backers because the backers already paid for the game and some already paid for the expansion and thus no longer matter.

Step 5: Make more money as a result of appeasing a total nutcase that does not actually represent the demographic HE (not she, I refuse to recognize that person as a real TG when comparing that !@#$ to TG acquaintances I've made over the years) purportedly claims to be a part of.

Step 6: Fire some the developer that got involved in the controversy because he happened to be the one to receive the demand initially since the company as a whole wants to improve PR with the betrayed backers.

Step 7: Profit some more at the expense of the people that contributed and believed in the company on the first place.

Step 8: Become as hated as Ubisoft, EA(before they began changing business practices in critical areas), Zynga

Step 9: continue to make poor decisions that shaft the repeat customers

Step 10: Close doors and fire everyone when no one supports Obsidian on their next potentially company saving venture.

sounds about right

You do know you're only about 10% correct with that list.

Idk about that... Josh Sawyer is one of the reasons I even purchased this game.

I am very happy I did as well.... not only did I get a great video game but I got to see some very interesting ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was stirred up from this controversy. Double the entertainment value....Now that I think about it, Josh Sawyer needs a raise...or at least my support on his next project regardless of what it is. ok, maybe not a game about cats but pretty much anything else.
