NPC Classes

Are all the playable classes covered by NPCs that may join your party? I'm trying to figure out what class I want my main character to be, but I don't want to be the same class as any of the in-game NPCs if possible. I don't really have a preference for my class, I just want a diverse party so I can learn all of the classes strengths and weaknesses.

As far as I am aware there are no Rogue or Barbarian NPC's

Wow, I can see no barbarian, but no rogue really surprises me.

In order of obtention :

Wizard
Fighter
Priest
Chanter
Ranger
Paladin
Druid
Cipher

It's missing rogue, barbarian, monk

Keep in mind you can recruit characters from the inn that are basically custom characters and make whatever class you want, they just dont have any personality like the companions.
