[Spoilers] Hidden ending...
Drull roll.

Ok, it turns out that if you return Wael's scroll to the dragon's skull you get to contact it just before the ending battle, for an additional option.

Interested to know if this is purely contingent on doing this, or if the option is available to everyone. Also interested to know if there's a way to refuse all the God/Goddesses' solutions - I didn't seem to have this option, although I supported Haelya (spelling).

In addition, I saw a thread stating that someone had fought Raedric twice. This didn't occur in my game, and the ending was a little depressing (with nods to the Dragon Lance series). Anyone know the conditions for triggering this?

Anyhow.

Great story, really came together at the end (I finished all the NPC stories - you have to have Grieving mother in your party for the last maps to do so), barring one thing:

If the PC is the reincarnation of the Inquisition's prodigy - the catalyst between Thaos and Icanan's (?) visions of freedom - two opposite ends of the absolutes on offer - then the question remains:

How? And more importantly, what happened to the original soul of the body you're in?

Not quite Torment, but very very good.

p.s.

Didn't unlock the 'visit all maps' achievement - which given I'd run around the entire world beforehand entering every single part I could was a little baffling (including all the nooks and crannies in Defiance). Kinda stumped on that one.

The final machine at end? I don't think I got the option, so there must be a requirement like the Wael scroll.

Maybe that quest with a noble and his missing *cought* daughter. It involves the Skael's cult.
Anyway it is fun how Woedica has hidden allies even among the groups of gods who opose her. Like Skael, and Magran.

That could be it. I wasn't sure how to resolve that quest. It was... messy in more ways than one.

I had slaughtered the cult. Rewrote the girl's memories as a Cypher. And then i just killed the degenerate bastard noble. So in a way Skael's will was enforced.

My steward had a message for me when i went back to my stronghold from raedric, it demanded that i face him at his keep or he would attack Caed Nua. Heading there now. I'm not sure why she never had this message for me until now? I have spoken to her tons.

Weird.

I often check in with my steward, never had that.

Wonder what the trigger is.

I met some guy in that TREE Tavern (SE) of the map, don't remember the name, there where the druids are with the letter ...
he had fled from raedic castle and told me he wanted to see me ... so I killed him a second time !

I think Skaen delivering the offer to help Woedica might be contingent on your player character getting a certian rank in the Deceptive discipline.

Raedric - returned as a Death Knight and killed everyone. Not sure how to stop this one: I presume you can't just tank n spank him early game.

There is a peasant in the Celestial Sapling Inn at Hearthsong who issued Raedric's challenge to me.
