Best Class for a Fire Godlike

So I just made it to my first inn and got Aloth to join my party. So I have my character, a fighter, who I max out my constitution and resolve when i creaed him and a wizard who i haven't messed with yet. So I noticed that non of the already made companions are fire godlikes, which are really cool looking. So i've decided to make one for myself. However I'm not sure what class best fits. Ideally i'd like to take advantage of their ability that whenever someone hits them they get burned. So I'm thinking front line next to my tank fighter. So I'd want something up front and dealing a lot of damage. I'd love to make a battle mage but i'm open to any ideas you all have.

I just made a fire godlike Barb for my path of the damned playthrough and i got to the 1st inn no problem with max might and the rest in con/dex, seems to be a decent build for the fire godlike, i'd say anything thats a fighter type because of the fire damage they do when they're getting hit so you might want to look at either a Barb, Monk, fighter or Paladin

I made a moon godlike Monk and a Nature godlike Druid at the Inn and took Eder and Aloth, and i seem to be wreking everything at the moment

I think Barbarian, they regularly lose large chunks of their endurance, high DPS. Seems like a natural fit.

Monk is pretty fun. Combined with some other fire talents its interesting combination.

Ok a barb might be fun. and non of the companions are barbs so that could work out.

Neat idea, but i'm not sure i want a full party of my own characters since I like the idea of the already made ones talking as we go along. and more companions in the party, the more talking i get to hear...i think.

Yeah i prefer the already made characters over my own because of the talking but i have already finished the game so i thought i'd make a few of my own for my next playthrough thats why i created those godlike's to see how they work out, just for a experiment :P

You already beat the game? I was expecting this game to take some time to beat. Like the old Diablo 2 play time.

Yeah today i finished it, i re-rolled twice because i messed up my main character, i ran a Boreal dwarf Rogue, was pretty good, my playthrough took me around 50 hrs but i had about 8 sidequests and a few tasks left to do as well as the bounties
