But that's not what why you shouldn't play it on a tablet.
I'm now on my fifth Surface 3 Pro, the strongest of the available tablets, because I play Steam games often. While running the game is something the tablet can do, and do for any length of time, the strain it puts on the hardware is horrible. You'll get hundreds of hours out of it but so long as you're a regular gamer you'll be forced to pick up a new tablet in a few months. These games are not designed for tablets at all and greatly shorten the lifespan of one if you attempt to run them.
I have been playing games on my old Samsung i5 11.3inch tablet since I got it 2 years ago and it is still working like a dream. I was planning on upgrading to a Surface at some point but if what you say is true then I might give it a miss.
Anyway - yes the game works with a stylus or finger, it runs very well on an 3rd gen i5 with integrated graphics. Scrolling the screen upwards is a bit awkward but apart from that it works well.
I did however use my bluetooth mouse after an hour or so as it just makes it easier.
this is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ statement haha
I tried to get an sb2 at the beginning of the year and ended up having to return 4 different units to a MS store that is nearly 4 hours away.
The first one overheated like crazy, 70c idle 90c while in browser.
The second one they tried to give me was a full $1200 cheaper and they tried just putting in a box and being like ok here is your replacement, have a good day.
The third one had a broken mag-lock.
The fourth one REFUSED to recognize the GPU, even at the root level, despite the fact that the gpu worked when i rigged it to my PC.

get a real laptop, get a real tablet or get a real PC (or for the price of sb2, get all 3)
don't get a surface
