slaughtering the caravan

Actually you CAN slaughter them, and the game even recognizes it. You don't have to go hunt for berries if you kill them.

Just use your spells / abilities on them.

Use your companion's ability on them. The one that knocks them down. That might work.

The easist way to do it ive found is to run to the bridge just west of the camp after starting the fight. They can only fight you one on one on the birdge.

You can also click the sword Icon in your UI, that puts you in Battle mode.. Killed the water guy first, rolling an Evil Pally.. had to kill Callista twice.. lured the Merchant off, before I got swarmed.. hehe.. Great fun.

I did it by accident and rolled with it just to see if i could on my first hour, i attacked a horse that aggroed the whole group and they went to the horses one by one dying like lemmings. Was playing a monk, pretty sure all dps based classes can do it, didnt follow trough after the slaughter tho.

i can't tell you the joy when my quest was UPDATED (not just failed or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) when I randomly attacked one those dudes. best game ever. Rolled a barbarian, undressed this warrior chick, sent her away in the field, killed the water guy, went back to finish the chick, went back to the caravan, aggroed the whole posse, critted one caravaneer and 10 of them went up in chunks of bloody meat (Carnage lol). looted the merchant and used one potion to dispose of the caravan master. Went to Gilded Vale, told the whole story to the sister and finished the pregnant ♥♥♥♥♥. good times

I started a roaming band of barbarians for my second play that just salt the earth with blood and loots. Those silly clanfathen builder warshippers never knew what hit em, and now I rule the dead town of twin elms.

I gave a serious try but it was on Path of the Damned difficulty and the closest I got was the Captain and 1 of his guards left. That was on a Barbarian.
