summoning class?

Do you have a sumoning class in this game?
I am playing as a monk and it's a real pain, i am almost always the first to bite dust.

I have one with shark teeth guy but i don't see any sumon spells for him, (he is lvl 4 in my game).

In battle only, and get him to spout out three chants.

Chanters use verses as fuel for their spells. They chant three verses, then they can cast a level 1 spell. Check the little icon on that characters face, when it says 3, click on him, there is a little book icon like for the mage - he starts with a spell to summon three skeletons, but he can summon a phantom on lvl 1 spells as well, or get stronger summons on higher levels later on.

You can also get items that go in the quick use slot that can summon a creature or creatures once per rest period during battle.

The ones I've found are: A horn that summons an animated armor, two beetle statues, one of which summons 3 stone beetles, and one of which summons some kinda big angry magic beetle, and a cloak that summons one "noble animal companion", which seems to be a dog.

Wizards also get summoning spells on level 3.

Haven't had a druid yet, but those typically get to summon forest spirits and wild animals as well.
