[Minor spoiler] Aldhelm Heritage Hill Tower
Did anyone figure out how to feed this guy so he doesn't go feral ? :o I'm thinking maybe the prisoners in Icantha's house but I released them before so maybe there's some other way? I hope so anyway...

Can't even decided what to do with the Tower yet but wondering what's the reward if you choose power.

Me too.. and can't seem to find anyone to lure... one would think you could bring the guard from the entrance... but no!

Well, I didn't do it myself, but there's also that kid you can find by following through on the clues from the abandoned mansion...

Maybe the girl in the tomb? Ug that is so wrong. But I saved her already before getting to the tower so I can't test.

I think you can use the refugees/prisonners Icantha have in her house. According to my guide anyway. I freed those guys before doing the quest, and I had no intention of feeding him anyway.

I saved both the girl and some servants before i even got into the tower. I thought the part of finding a victim in the quest should be greyed out if it wasn't possible, but it isn't.

I usually play nice the first time I play a game, and nasty if I play it a second time - it makes you appreciate just how bad you're being if you know what would have happened if you'd played nice first.

Ok, so I did this section over and this is what I found out.
You have to nearly complete all the quest without freeing the humans in Icatha's house. When you go to the top of the tower and talk to Aldhelm, leave tower and go back there, it will trigger a new chat and your journal will update about looking for something for him to feed on. Go to Icatha's house, and [Lie] to them telling them to go to the top of the tower to be safe. When you go back to Aldhelm he will teach you about redirecting the souls form the machine into you. And when you activate the machine you will have this option giving you:
Gift from the Machine: +1 might, +5% endurance

Quite a good reward, but you get Cruel and Deceptive Reputations, which were quite bad for my Good playtrhough, so I went back to my old save.

Hope this helps :)

Awesome m8 big thanks I already moved on past that part but still wanted to know what happens. Yeah the bonus is quite awesome I think sacrificing some rep might be really worth it. I'll definitely do it when I'll try my solo playthrough.

Did you see any difference between stopping the machine and destroying it? I was running around talking to npcs but when I destroyed I only saw that Icantha is gone and that's about it...
and ofc the rep difference major vs extraordinary.

I think the destruction of the machine is to keep the power out of the hands of the government/evil horn beard mask guy.
